About Lee Russell 337
Lee has always had a deep passion for music and sound.
He has been playing synths all his adult life and loves to create soundscapes that conjure up pictures in the mind.
Lee doesn't like to be limited by genres and simply makes the music he wants to hear.
Bands and gigs
Lee has been gigging with various bands for the last 30 years. He has played at festivals and gigs across the UK from Derbyshire to Devon. Delighting audiences with his eclectic mix of experimental, ambient, psychedelic electronica and rock,
His experiences improvising with bands on the road has proved crucial in shaping his sound. Lee is now taking time out from bands to concentrate on his solo work.
Synthesist
Lee is a 'music tech head'. Into all manner of electronic music making. He sculpts his sounds from analog, digital and modular synthesizers and now works with these and the latest virtual instruments on computer. Always interested in developing music technology and looking for the 'new' sound.
